Jeramiah Walker APRN-CNP Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner & Aimee Walker, MS, LPC, EMDR Clinician
Jeramiah began his career in healthcare in 1993 as an EMT-B. In 2000, Jeramiah graduated with his R.N. and began working in the Emergency Department. After completing his BSN from Southern Nazarene University, Jeramiah took on the challenge of graduate school where he graduated with his F.N.P. in 2007. Since that time, Jeramiah has continued to work in the Emergency Department as well as in the clinic setting providing family and urgent care. Once he began working in the family practice setting, he knew he one day would like to have his own family practice in the community he calls home with his wife and children. Jeramiah spends his time away from the clinic with his wife Aimee, their children and grandchildren.
Aimee felt a calling to become a Counselor when she and Jeramiah were foster parents. She returned to school and obtained her Masters of Science in Professional Counseling from Mid-America Christian University. Aimee is able to work with any age client and will provide individual, family and group counseling. Her theoretical approach to therapy is a blend of many theories including Cognitive, Behavioral and Psychoanalytical theories which can include mindfulness, skills training, role playing, developing coping skills and relaxation techniques, prayer, bible verse memorization, and EMDR. When Aimee is not providing therapy, she enjoys gardening, reading and spending time with her children, grandchildren and dogs.
